The bay's reefs and drop-offs make Kalkan an established Mediterranean diving base, with sites suited to both first-timers and experienced divers — walls, swim-throughs and the resident marine life that comes with a coastline this undeveloped.
Sea kayaking covers similar ground at the surface, for a slower look at the same coastline from the water.
